| Dear Voornaam, After a roaring success in 2023, The Scotsman's Scran Awards 2024 are open for nominations.
The awards are aimed at recognising those in the food and drink sector who are making a difference, and we want to hear about those who deserve recognition. Nominations can be made online now, and all finalists will be invited to attend a special awards ceremony on June 17 at Platform in Glasgow. Food and drink editor Rosalind Erskine has all the details here

Political Editor Alistair Grant has the story here In sport, Fraser Brown has his take on Scotland's Six Nations campaign after defeat to Italy at the weekend, while the Scotland squad has also been named ahead of the friendlies in the run-up to the Euro championships this summer. Have a great evening Alan You should have seen an email notification from us, telling you I'll be sending the Scotsman's letter from the editor via a different mailing list. That change will happen from Monday March 18, so if you haven't signed on to the new list yet, please do before then. I'd hate to lose you! Here's the link to the sign up page - just choose the Letter from The Editor option. | |
