Breaking point: Southeast Louisiana is struggling with increasingly intense hurricane seasons, but it's not the storms themselves that are whittling away at the populations of coastal communities. Sam Karlin has a special report on Louisiana's insurance crisis and how it's affecting families in Terrebonne Parish. Strike suspended: The longshoremen's strike that began Tuesday has come to a halt, but experts say the announcement strongly suggests the dockworkers union and the association that represents ports and shippers should be able to come to a longer-term agreement. Metairie Towers: The developer selected to buy the former Metairie Towers condominium complex in Old Metairie closed on the $24.5 million deal Thursday, and he's got new plans for the property that's been out of commission since Hurricane Ida.
