Good morning,

As the Executive Editor of RealClearPolitics, I’d like to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving.

For many Americans, this day consists largely of the 3 F’s—food, family, and football. Unfortunately, for fans of the Washington football team, this day isn’t always a happy one. 

Today, the Dallas Cowboys will play the Washington Commanders (formerly Redskins) for the eleventh time on Thanksgiving Day since 1968. Dallas leads the all-time T-day series by a whopping margin of 9-1. 

So, good luck to all you Washington fans out there. If history’s any indication, you’re going to need it.
