The top five business stories of 2024

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Staff writer

Today's top story is one I look forward to every year. It's my top five business stories of the year.

Since I'm still an old sports writer at heart, I like to rank things. Buc-ee's in Lafayette is easily the top story in 2024, but nailing down four others was not an easy task.

So take a look back at the year in headlines, the most-read stories on my website, the most memorable quotes of the year and what to watch for in 2025 (hint: a fried chicken place along Johnston Street is a big one).

You can read the story here.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.
