FATAL CARJACKING: Had the four teenagers accused of carjacking and killing Linda Frickey, 73, in Mid-City just asked for her vehicle, Frickey's sister said, she likely would have surrendered it and walked away. And one of the teen suspects, it turns out, had been charged in adult court with aggravated burglary in 2020, during District Attorney Leon Cannizzarro's administration, but Cannizzarro's sucessor, Jason Williams, dropped the charge at what the DA's office said was the victim's request.
