Family life often has more questions than answers. From considering how to nurture the love of the Lord in little ones to maintaining healthy relationships with grown children, families are continually working through complex ideas with considerable impact. On a new episode of The Russell Moore Show, Russell and producer Ashley Hales answer listener questions on parenting that range from schooling to sexuality. Even as they work through heavy questions, they encourage listeners to remember that the yoke of Jesus is easy, its burden light. “We have the whole body of Christ,” Hales says, “We have the whole witness of Scripture. We have the Holy Spirit at work. It’s not all up to us.” Whether we are working through difficult dynamics or simply enjoying a game night with the kids, may we remember that God’s grace is sufficient for our families. We may not have all the answers, but we have a God who is faithful to stay near us both in seasons of despair and delight.
