September 1, 2021 Good morning! I'm sending this newsletter a day early since I know many are heading out to celebrate the long holiday weekend. I was planning to be in Connecticut to surprise my dad who is still recovering from COVID-19 but I canceled my trip at the last minute for a variety of reasons. I'm so glad I did because you will never guess what happened at his rehab center. The reason (which I'm sure you've already guessed) is near the bottom of his COVID-19 update). Do you find it shocking that today is the first day of September? If you are traveling, here's my advice for delays and cancelations. TSA Checkpoint Numbers Plummet TSA officers screened just 1,345,064 individuals at airport checkpoints nationwide yesterday.
