UPDATE FROM GARY
First, thank you for all the birthday wishes. I had many happy tears and much gratitude over them.
My stroke/fractured ribs/punctured lung episode really hit me hard. The ribs and lung were essentially healed in about 3 weeks but the stroke has a way to go. I no longer need a walker or cane but wobble a bit when I walk on level ground. My handwriting is legible although it takes a long time to write. My speech is the worst. It takes a lot of work to form words and I sound funny.
I am in a retirement home/rehab center and I will be here 2 or 3 months. After that, hopefully, we can launch our new website. We shall see.
Many of you have been doing surrogate work on my behalf. Many thanks. I am sure it has added to my progress.
