Her vision for antitrust enforcement, regulation, and section 230 reform.
| Hi, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) will present a keynote and answer live audience questions on March 1 at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT. Earlier this month, Klobuchar unveiled the SAFE TECH Act, which she co-sponsored with Senators Mark Warner and Mazie Hirono. It's a first stab at Section 230 reform that would increase tech platforms’ liability for speech that leads to real-world violence, and would remove protections entirely for paid advertising. As chairwoman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights in a Democrat-controlled Congress, Klobuchar will be an influential voice in an active period for regulation. In April, Klobuchar is releasing Antitrust, a book focusing on her policy recommendations to rein in big tech. Get into the weeds with Klobuchar on how she’s approaching big tech regulation and speech on the internet, her vision for antitrust enforcement, and how she plans to pursue her goals this congressional term. |
