The announcement last week that Worldpay was the first merchant acquirer to enable Amazon Pay is about more than making a new tender type available to Worldpay merchants. Karen Webster said it has the potential to create a single commerce experience across all of the channels and places where consumers buy and eat food â even ironically, perhaps, giving restaurant operators their best hope of surviving the threat of the aggregators.
