Shabbat Shalom from The Forward,
It's been an unusual week, but our writers - and readers - have shown a lot of resilience and creativity. This week, we shared a rabbi's advice on how to make prayer meaningful while livestreaming. We had a father describing how his son will still have a Bar Mitzvah this Shabbat - just not quite the one they envisioned. And our archivist, Chana Pollack, found an article we published in 1918 about how the Jewish community was coping with the Spanish Flu outbreak. Plus, if you're sick of reading about you-know-what, culture fellow PJ Grisar has a deep dive into the shocking history behind HBO's "The Plot Against America." All of that and more in this week's edition!

A gutn shabes,
