A fun-sized, fringe-esque theatre festival from £10 Theatre fans! Fancy sinking your teeth into something a little bit different this summer? Hit up Hammersmith's newly-reopened Riverside Studios this month for the second audacious edition of Bitesize Festival. Highlights include an exploration of plagues through the ages, an interrogation of power by a Lecoq-trained clown, and a piece of dance theatre about a Soviet-era poet-slash-propagandist. Each punchy new production costs £10 (£6.50 for concessions) and lasts around an hour — leaving you with plenty of time to enjoy a pre-show drink, a post-theatre meal, or even multiple productions during a single evening. It's also a fantastic opportunity to explore one of west London's nicest waterfront venues (the terrace bar is great for people-watching, FYI). Bitesize Festival is a fringe-esque affair, so expect laidback vibes and innovative, thought-provoking storytelling. Click below to peruse the programme and book tickets. Hurry — it's only here till 31 July. |
