There's something in the air....

Hello, John.

There’s something in the air at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel on the EWTN campus in Birmingham. It’s the scent of thousands of roses and assorted flowers!

Members of our EWTN Family from all over the world have been sending bouquets in honor of our Blessed Mother this month.

As Saint John Henry Newman wrote: “Mary is the queen of spiritual flowers, and therefore she is called the rose, for the rose is fitly called of all the flowers, the most beautiful.”

Fr. Joseph blessed the roses and presented them to Our Lady – and also said a blessing for all of those who sent the flowers, for those who prepared them, and for those who would receive them.
