Local, now and forever

This is the last day of February, but that doesn't mean we'll stop asking the question of what local means now.

So, to all those leaders of companies that have gone fully remote, given up the HQ leases, shifted to hiring from anywhere in the country or even the world, or that have more employees living outside of Maryland than inside: What does being a local company mean to you?

Or the simpler question I offer to anyone willing to answer: What does it mean to be a Baltimore-based company nowadays? What's the criteria to be able to say, My company is "local"? Let us know what you think by replying to this email or sending a note to , any time.
