At the ACSI office, we work with more than 140 colleagues in order to be able to offer you an amazing range of holidays every year. We search for all of the details about the greatest campsites and destinations in Europe. And of course we love to travel ourselves.

Laura went on a city trip to Prague and Mariëlle immersed herself in the history of Normandy. The snug fishing villages along the Spanish Costa Blanca and the romantic world of mountains of Bavaria are also ideal destinations for the early and late seasons. These are our tips!

'Normandy is a region full of history where you are still able to experience that history in full. The coast with all the memories of the event of D-Day is highly recommended. But you should definitely not overlook medieval gems such as Bayeux and Le-Mont-Saint-Michel.'

'Costa Blanca has amazing Spanish fishing villages. One of my favourites is Moraira. You can wander along the coast and through the beautiful harbour. Every cove has a small beach that allows you to take a dip in the sea. And the small streets and alleys have all kinds of small restaurants and boutiques.'

'If you are going from your campsite to Prague for a day out, be sure to have a drink at Čapadlo Summer Terrace. You will have a beautiful view of the Moldau from a beach chair or a picnic table. A tip: on Saturdays, the centre is usually nice and quiet. Many Czechs will have gone to their cottage.'

'Berchtesgadener Land in the Bavarian area has wonderful hiking. You can take the cable car to the Jenner for a trip with amazing views. Or hike around the fabulous Hintersee. A trip to Salzburg is also worthwhile.'

Tip: rent a car at the campsite

If you are travelling by motorhome and want to go for a ride in the area, it could be handy to rent a car. You can relax while driving along steep mountainous roads or through the narrow streets of charming villages. There are several campsites where you can rent a car. A most convenient service!
