Advertisers have been complacent and reactive when it comes to Facebook, until a changing society demands them to act otherwise.
The relationship between Facebook and its largest advertisers is dysfunctional at best and the latest standoff is fueling the dysfunction once again. More than 900 advertisers aren’t buying ads on Facebook until at least the end of July over the social network’s handling of hate speech.
