NATIONAL: Oddmund Braaten, Interprefy’s former COO, will take over as CEO of the Zurich, Switzerland-based company, which is a leading provider of managed remote simultaneous interpretation technology and services. Braaten takes over for outgoing CEO Annett Polaszewski-Plath, who helped the company double its revenue and team across 29 countries over the last two years.

DENVER: Yardbird will be opening in Denver’s River North Art District in fall 2022. The James Beard Award-nominated restaurant is the brainchild of 50 Eggs Hospitality Group founder and CEO John Kunkel. Yardbird Denver will be located within Lot Twenty-Eight, a 50,000-square-foot adaptive reuse development that aims to preserve the character of the historic River North manufacturing plant.

LOS ANGELES: On Jan. 18, Cabra Los Angeles opened on the rooftop at The Hoxton, Downtown LA. The restaurant is chef Stephanie Izard’s second location in Los Angeles, and it features colorful and experimental craft cocktails, innovative fresh seafood dishes, whimsical decor and panoramic skyline views.

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA: Visit Florida has announced that Florida Huddle 2023 will be held Feb. 2-4, 2023, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.
