COAST TO COAST: Curio Collection by Hilton is expanding its presence in the western United States with five hotels in Washington, New Mexico, California, and Utah. The Chrysalis Inn & Spa Bellingham opened in Washington in April; Hotel Andaluz Albuquerque opened in May; Carté Hotel San Diego Downtown will open in August; Hoodoo Moab will open in eastern Utah in August; and Cliffrose Springdale will open in Utah in September. LOS ANGELES: The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (Lacma) will have its ninth annual Art&Film Gala on November 2. Lacma will honor artist Betye Saar and filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón. NEW YORK: Redeye Grill has reopened in midtown after undergoing a renovation. Owned and operated by the Fireman Hospitality Group, the American restaurant now has a new bistro concept, 888 Cafe & Bar, located within the venue. The Redeye Grill dining room seats 200 guests and 888 Cafe & Bar seats 80. PHILADELPHIA: The Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia has completed a renovation of its 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space, located on the 24th and 25th floors. Along with the renovation, In addition to the refreshed space, the hotel has launched new programming for groups. These include group sound bath meditation seminars with sound healer Luna Maye and offsite weddings and receptions for groups of as many as 100 in Collins Park.
