Join us Thursday evening for Jazz at CAM as we welcome Lenora Zenzalai Helm and the Tribe Jazz Orchestra Nonet.


They'll bring their unique approach to the music of the big band tradition to our Reception Hall for another wonderful evening at CAM.


Lenora Zenzalai Helm and Tribe Jazz Orchestra Nonet be joined by special guest and GRAMMY nominee pianist Orrin Evans.

This event takes its inspiration from “Untitled” (L.A.) by ground-breaking conceptual artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres now on view in Love. Join us as we celebrate the joy, connections, and promise of love across time and generations.


Various community partners offer a safe space and share information, resources, and host fun family activities in CAM’s Reception Hall.


At 2 PM we welcome Techmoja for a moving performance of Loud As We Want followed by a thoughtful movement workshop.

Paper Clay Workshop

Instructor: Evelyn Fischer

Learn to create bas-relief art using air dried paper clay on boards. This is a fun process, and you will create interesting, unique art. The result is a wood carved effect that will leave your friends wondering how you made it! Patterns will be provided, or you can adapt your own ideas! Adult: All Levels -

Life Drawing: Large Format Workshop

Instructor: Donna Moore

Exercise all the fundamentals of expressive figurative drawing in a real stretch - Life Size! - Expansive gestural warm-ups lead to single pose 6' x 42" format.

Linocut Printmaking Intro and Beyond

Instructor: Antoinette Vogt

Explore the relief printmaking method of Linocut to create striking images. This class is perfect for both the beginner and students with some experience. Those new to Linocut will learn the basics of planning and carving their design into the linoleum block, inking and printing. Explore printing in black ink to create bold images as well as multi color printing by using a blended roll to create a unique effect.
