MUSEUM SCHOOL CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Summer classes are online and open for enrollment!

CHARCOAL: HARDWORKING, DYNAMIC & DELICATE

Instructor: Donna Moore

Discover the freedom of working with one of art’s most forgiving and expressive traditional mediums: charcoal. Perfect for loose sketching, polished drawings, or bold mixed-media work, charcoal moves easily from deep, rich blacks to the softest grays, offering a wide range of expressive possibilities. It invites bold marks, erasing, and constant reworking. Minimal supply purchase is required—studio materials will be available for experimentation.
