In April the group released their 4th studio album Vitality, a blend of jazz, world music, and fusion featuring an incredible lineup of nonpareil musicians. First prize winner in the 2019 Vandoren Emerging Artist competition, saxophonist Rico Jones returns to his native Colorado with a stellar quartet of fellow NYC musicians, including critically acclaimed drummer Ari Hoenig and pianist Dave Kikoski.

The Pierce Murphy Trio brings an old-school jazz touch to modern music. With hip-hop, pop, and rock reimagined through a distinct 70s guitar and voice trio sound, they’ve performed far flung gigs in Tokyo and Paris, all while maintaining strong Denver roots.
