This Youngsville project is just massive

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

The area just south of the Youngsville Sports Complex will be the largest residential development folks around here have seen in decades.

The quick version is this: 716 acres, over 1,600 homes and other amenities like parks, commercial spaces and possibly a charter school.

It's on land owned by the Young's Industries, which, if you know your Youngsville history, owned thousands of acres in the city and has donated property for the sports complex and other notable developments.

You will hear more about this in the coming months.

You can read Stephen Marcantel's story here.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
