Tier Three Now in Force in Fife New Funding Now Available The Scottish Government has moved Fife into Tier 3 as part of its strategic framework to control the Coronavirus and his launched new grant support for businesses that are required to close by law every. The payments will be made every four weeks for as long as the restrictions last. Support will also be available to businesses not required to close, but specifically required by law to significantly modify their operations. |

Government Increases Support for Self-Employed The government is increasing its support to the self-employed with the third instalment of the UK-wide Self-Employment Income Support Scheme, with people receiving 80 per cent of average trading profits for November.
The government has also committed to ensuring the grants will be paid faster than previously planned – with the claims window opening at the end of November rather than the middle of December.

The funds offer a one-off payment to those who are deeply impacted and disadvantaged by the cancellation of work as a result of the pandemic.
