| TikTok Gets a Reprieve in Pakistan | |
| | Hi there, Happy Tuesday! Came here to recap the latest in the TikTok drama. As you know, the company was among those banned earlier this year (in June) from India due to the platform's ties to China. In October, Pakistan took similar measures over the platform's "immoral" and "indecent" content. Well, Pakistan decided to walk that back a bit, and the platform was reinstated this week after TikTok "assured moderating content in accordance with societal norms and the laws of Pakistan," according to government officials there. And if you need a refresher about what's happening here in the U.S., check out my colleague Scott Nover's smart coverage on how media buyers are thinking about the platform and what it could mean for advertisers here. Here's what else we're covering: Tweets are on baseballs.Instagram lets businesses and creators set age gates.Facebook Watch rolls out a new feature.Stat of the Day: Nelly’s hit record, “Country Grammar,” turned 20 years old this summer.
