Elon Musk, DOGE team offer unprecedented peek behind the curtain of Trump's cost-cutting department Musk and his DOGE team say cutting 15% of federal spending is “achievable” without affecting critical services, detailing $130 billion in savings by slashing fraud, waste, DEI programs, and redundant agencies in what Musk calls the biggest government shakeup since 1776. Elon Musk vows Social Security recipients will get ‘more money’ “Legitimate people, as a result of the work of DOGE, will receive more Social Security, not less. ... The reason we’re doing this is because if we don’t do it, America is going to go insolvent and go bankrupt, and nobody’s going to get anything.” Trump and Musk Share the Founder’s Mindset Behind all the criticism, praise, and blame heaped on the DOGE, a question lurks: How is it possible that these two men, who barely knew each other before the presidential campaign and who are separated by a quarter-century in age, are able to get along and agree on what to do and how to do it? ‘DOGE Meets HHS’: RFK Jr. To Terminate 20,000 Bureaucrats, Restructure Department Initial cuts will save taxpayers $1.8 billion annually. White House office moves to limit union rights for federal employees A new executive order ends collective bargaining rights for employees across DHS, DOD, State, VA, and more — revoking union recognition under the Civil Service Reform Act for agencies deemed critical to national security. Trump moves to curtail 'divisive narratives' featured in Smithsonian museums “Museums in our Nation’s capital should be places where individuals go to learn — not to be subjected to ideological indoctrination or divisive narratives that distort our shared history," the order reads. Trump signs order outlining plans to make DC 'safe and beautiful' "As the Federal capital city, Washington, D.C., is the only city that belongs to all Americans and that all Americans can claim as theirs," the president wrote in the order.

Republicans look to abolish TSA in favor of private security at airports "The TSA has not only intruded into the privacy and personal space of most Americans, it has also repeatedly failed tests to find weapons and explosives. Our bill privatizes security functions at American airports," Sen. Mike Lee wrote in a statement. I called out the CIA on X — and then my account disappeared Former CIA officer Kevin Shipp says his social media account was hijacked just as he posted plans to reform the agency and expose its alleged role in JFK’s assassination. The timing coincided with the government’s release of 80,000 pages of assassination files. Amy Coney Barrett Could Be A Superb Supreme Court Justice. She’s Choosing Not To Be. What Barrett fails to realize is that her failure to consistently abide by originalist doctrine is placing Americans’ constitutional rights at risk. Tim Walz says Democrats lost because they didn't go all-in on illegal immigration, DEI, and wokeness “We let them define the issue on immigration.
