Artist Opportunities - Towner International Open Call (Deadline: 17 January 2019): Towner are inviting open call submissions for Towner International – a major new biennial exhibition of contemporary art that will take place at Towner in 2020, featuring British and International artists. Submissions are welcome from professional artists across the UK and internationally, working in all media, including – but not restricted to – painting, drawing, print, sculpture, sound, performance, photography, film and installation.
- Call for Artists - England's Creative Coast (Deadline: 17 January 2019): England’s Creative Coast is a large-scale arts and tourism programme across Essex, Kent and East Sussex led by Turner Contemporary, working with some of the major arts organisations in the region. The yare looking for an artist for whom text and words are a central element of their practice to work with and activate six new geocaches located along the Essex coast, connecting the stories of local Essex people with visitors.
