At a time when AI-generated content is under tremendous scrutiny, Google has released a tool that detects anything written by AI. SynthID is now an open-source watermarking tool that developers and businesses can use to identify AI-created content. By analyzing specific tokens within the text, SynthID can tell whether an artificial intelligence wrote the sentence or not.

Of course, the system isn't 100% accurate. It can be fooled if someone runs the sentence through a translation program or if it's rewritten by a significant amount, but it's still a step in the right direction — especially for combating AI-made content in contexts it isn't allowed.

In case you haven’t heard, a robot vacuum was sent into space. It made it up there successfully and safely and continued working, and now that it’s back on Earth it’s ready to clean some floors. The vacuum in question? Roborock’s S8 MaxV Ultra, an advanced robot vacuum and mop with the ultimate all-in-one dock. A patent filed by Samsung suggests that a new type of adjustable smart ring could be in development. Based on the patent, the ring would have segmented interior sections that would allow it to fit more snugly against the finger while also expanding as needed. This would, in theory, provide better tracking while reducing the number of different SKUs Samsung would need for future entries in the Galaxy Ring lineup. The patent was filed at the end of last year, so with any luck Samsung wil find a way to implement it before the launch of the Galaxy Ring 2.

The latest open-ear earbuds from Cleer, the Arc 3 packs a ton of features into its small size. The charging case now has its own battery and a built-in mirror in the lid, but more impressive than that is the antibacterial UV lighting. Ever wondered what kind of germs live in your ear wax? With this case, the answer is hopefully close to none.

On top of that, the case now comes with its own color touchscreen and a total of 50 hours of battery life between the buds and the case. You can pick up these earbuds in black and pink for $220, and more colors are scheduled to arrive soon.

Blade might have lost its release date for 2025, but that's been replaced by Predator: Badlands, a new film in the franchise that stars Elle Fanning of The Great fame. Following the success of Prey, Dan Trachtenberg was essentially handed a golden ticket to direct what he wanted — and Predator was the answer.
What's more, there's a second, secret movie that's set to come out before Badlands, but we have no more information except that it is set to release sometime in 2025. In addition, 20th Century Studios confirmed that a sequel to the hit Alien: Romulus is in the works.
