β Dell is alerting customers of a data breach after a hacker claimed to have nabbed information for around 49 million of its customers. The company is emailing customers who may be affected, informing them that a Dell portal holding customer information related to purchases suffered a breach, Bleeping Computer reported. "We are currently investigating an incident involving a Dell portal, which contains a database with limited types of customer information related to purchases from Dell," the message said. βWe believe there is not a significant risk to our customers given the type of information involved" ... |

β WiiM has officially unveiled its new network music streamer, the WiiM Ultra, which Digital Trends describes as βa slick aluminum device with a color touchscreen, physical volume knob, and a dedicated, front-facing 3.5mm headphone output.β The WiiM Ultra will cost $329 when it hits Amazon between July 1 and September 30. It also showed off the WiiM Amp Pro, a beefed-up version of the highly rated WiiM Amp that launched earlier this year. The WiiM Amp Pro will sell for $369 when it arrives on Amazon in the coming months. β Asus has officially confirmed the latest ROG Ally PC gaming handheld, called the Asus ROG Ally X, Tech Radar reported. Full details on the ROG Ally X will be announced on June 2, though Asus did share a few of the improvements on Thursday, such as upgrades to the RAM and the ports, as well as better battery life. Asus also teased Armoury Crate 1.5 β an updated version of the Ally X software β which will come with an entirely new interface, including new layouts and filters for games. Armoury Crate 1.5 will also work on the original Ally X and launch in July, suggesting the Ally X might land in stores around then, too ... |
