Markson was the Executive Vice President of Development for The NRP group and cofounder of the Texas office of The NRP Group in 2003. Teenage siblings with rare genetic disease receive kidney transplants on the same day John and Ava Shepperd share a rare genetic kidney disease known as cystinosis that required the siblings to undergo a kidney transplant.
