We’ve been eagerly anticipating this for a while. Why? Well, not only was this incredible art exhibition space four years in the making, its unveiling last year was short-lived because, you know, stuff. Anyway, today it’s back and to say we’re excited is a pretty big understatement.
You see there’s a lot to be excited about. But before we go into what’s on right now, let us give you a bit of an intro, because the concept is quite cool. Cromwell Place is a new Membership organisation that gives galleries, collectors, dealers and non-profits a space to exhibit their work and conduct business. It’s quite the space, too, with 15 galleries set across five Grade II-listed South Kensington townhouses right in the heart of the museum district.
Exhibitions here run from a minimum of one week to a max of six, with this month’s programme celebrating London’s rich cultural landscape through presentations from the likes of Black Box Projects, Lehmann Maupin, John Martin Gallery and August Edwards Fine Arts. And coming up? Think collabs with Abu Dhabi Art, work from Royal College of Art grads and an exhibition from the National Portrait Gallery. You can see why we’re excited.
