Hi Do, Here are Todd’s latest fun picks to take your financial skills to the next level... I've been making the case since January that we've just entered a period of "epochal" change (measured in decades, not months).
You won't notice the change immediately. It's gradual, like a frog boiling to death. You get used to it one degree at a time until suddenly realizing the life-altering impact.
One important characteristic of this epochal change is how it will rewrite the rules of investing and personal finance as you know them today. What worked for the past five decades is about to change.
15 years from now, conventional passive index asset allocation investors will look up and say, "Wow, that sucked!" Financial institutions and daily personal finance practices will be dramatically rewritten. Yeah, it's a big deal.
What worked in the past will not work in the future.
I've explored this in great detail inside my Expectancy Wealth Planning community as I prepare my students for how all of this develops.
With that said, I want to be clear that I'm an unabashed optimist. Yes, there will be turmoil creating dramatic winners and losers.
But the seeds of destruction sow the next wave of prosperity. It may be the end of an era, but it's not the end.
What lies on the other side is an exciting future that makes our modern society today look as archaic as bloodletting in the middle ages. My children will lead far better lives than I did.

It's a complex topic made accessible through this introductory primer. If you read nothing else this week, make it this article. I like this article for how it shows global warming will improve drastically because the key companies producing the fossil fuels will die and there will be no replacements. Unfortunately, it fails to discuss the equally important fact that renewables are already crossing the essential threshold of becoming the most cost-efficient energy production solution.
