With a totally unique set-up as the only two teams in the CHL to play across leagues, the OHL/QMJHL Battle Of The Ottawa River is BACK! The Gatineau Olympiques will be facing off against the Ottawa 67’s on Thursday, February 9 for a 7:00 PM puck drop, as Gold Medal winning Team Canada World Junior’s teammates Jack Matier (Ottawa) and Zach Dean (Gatineau) meet in game one of the series. 2019 was the last time these two teams faced each other, where the Barber Poles snagged their fourth consecutive series win. Will this be the year they secure number 5? |
