GearWrench® Ratcheting Wrench Insert Bits are designed to give excellent access in tight places. The insert bits fit into the box end of a wrench, performing like a bit socket on a ratchet. The advantage of insert bits over ratchets and bit sockets is that they have a lower profile and are not as wide, providing greater access in confined spaces.
FEATURES:
• Fits in 8mm, 12mm, or 15mm 6 or 12 point wrenches or ratcheting wrenches
• Can be inserted into a socket, allowing them to be used with a ratchet like a regular bit socket
• Narrower profile when used in a ratcheting wrench than standard ratchets
• Zinc phosphate coating for corrosion resistance
• Ball detent securely holds the insert bit in the wrench
• Size markings on base for easy identification
