Against the rules of engagement: Couple fakes a robbery Nobody forgets the moment when their spouse proposed to them. Itâs one of those memories that sticks in the mind and symbolizes a loving commitment between two people. But what happens when your engagement is rotten from the start? A couple in North Carolina might know the answer after they attempted to stage a robbery so they could afford to buy wedding rings. The woman, who was in on the crime, pretended to be working an ordinary shift when her hubby-to-be entered the store brandishing a knife. She promptly handed over the cash, then reunited with him later to buy their rings at Walmart. They also filmed a video of their engagement inside said Walmart! Sadly, this is how the police were able to nab them. Love stinks â sometimes. Maybe they should have done a puppy proposal. Itâs much more wholesome! Tap or click to see the most adorable proposal ever. â |
