A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. We regularly follow law firm mergers, and today we consider four transatlantic mergers that might make sense. Also, we are watching Mexico, where President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is getting closer to his goal of revamping the country's judiciary -- a move that lawyers in the country say will threaten the Mexican economy, foreign investment and the rule of law. And in Asia, we are looking at yet another U.S. firm that has decided to shutter its office in Beijing.
