TRB Webinar: Not Easy Being GreenColorizing Bicycle Lanes to Enhance Safety How safe are bicycle lanes in your community? TRB will host a webinar on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will explore how colorizing bike lanes can enhance their safety. Presenters will illustrate two case studies about green colored pavement markings for improving safety. They will identify applications and performances of different materials in both northern and southern climates. This webinar will also allow for a discussion about the costs and benefits of different pavement marking technologies in additional use cases. This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Technical Committees on Traffic Control Devices, and on Bicycle Transportation. Some registrants will need to pay $95 to attend this webinar.
