TRB Webinar: The Future of Bridge Foundation Designs with Artificial Intelligence Artificial intelligence (AI) has many uses in transportation, including designing bridges. TRB will host a webinar on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will offer insights on using AI in designing bridge foundations. Presenters will evaluate design methodologies for foundations and discuss how state departments of transportation (DOTs) can utilize the practical applications of AI in transportation structures. They will also discuss the Data Interchange for Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (DIGGS), which is a data transfer protocol for geotechnical, geoenvironmental, and engineering data. This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Technical Committee on Foundations of Bridges and Other Structures. Some registrants will need to pay $95 to attend this webinar.
