TRB Webinar: Where Are We Now with Performance-Based Pavement Warranties? Pavement warranties have been common in the United States at various points in time, and while there is no national pavement warranty standard, agencies have developed their own specifications with varying criteria. TRB will host a webinar on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern that will discuss practices with the use of performance-based pavement warranties for new construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of both asphalt and concrete pavements. The presenter will discuss potential implementations or expansions of the use of performance-based warranties. This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Synthesis Report 553: Performance-Based Pavement Warranty Practices.
