If you have been following the US election overnight you'll probably be quite tired - I wonder if they follow the Lancashire County Council elections quite so closely as we do Pennsylvania? So today marks the full final day before our national one month lockdown starts tomorrow. Although this is a slightly different affair, with schools remaining open and shops more prepared for demand, it's still expected to be a busy day for retail as shoppers try to fit everything in. Expect queues at the major retail parks and in town. There is really no need to panic buy however as essential shops seem well prepared but we will watch with interest. Meanwhile we are busy behind the scenes preparing a campaign to support local business through the lockdown.
