Situational Analysis | August 25, 2023 It's Friday and National Banana Split Day. What You Need to Know - Former president Donald Trump surrendered for the fourth time this year. This case is focused on his efforts to overturn his 2020 election defeat in Georgia. The probe by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis began shortly after the release of a recording of a Jan. 2, 2021, phone call between former President Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which the then-president suggested that Raffensperger could âfind 11,780 votesâ â just enough to overtake Joe Biden. Trump and his supporters call the charges politically motivated.
