Today on COVID-19 in Minnesota: Bill to set aside state money for coronavirus response on fast track at the Capitol. The bill would free up about $25 million for the Minnesota Department of Health to pay staff, buy lab equipment, acquire protective gear and take other steps to head off a more-serious spread of the virus. The final version of the bill is expected to be approved in the House Monday afternoon and signed by Gov. Tim Walz early this week.
