Trump, Putin reportedly agree to defeat ISIS in Syria

President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin released a joint statement Saturday vowing to defeat ISIS in Syria and confirming a commitment to Syria’s sovereignty, Reuters reported, citing the Kremlin. The statement was released after the two leaders chatted briefly at the Asia-Pacific summit in Danang, Vietnam.
