More business investment in Ascension Parish: CF Industries said Tuesday it plans to build a $4 billion, low-carbon ammonia plant near Modeste on the west bank of Ascension Parish, officially announcing a project that promises over 100 jobs and cleared a key hurdle last year for industrial tax exemptions. The plant will be in the same industrial park where Hyundai last month announced it will build a $5.8 billion steel mill. Read more.
