MUSC Health to operate Encompass Health rehab hospital

Encompass Health’s existing inpatient rehabilitation hospital at 9181 Medcom St. in North Charleston will be renamed and will operate as MUSC Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, according to a news release.

Clemson to furlough employees starting Sept. 1

Clemson University will be furloughing employees until the end of the calendar year in response to the economic impact of COVID-19. The furlough period follows a hiring freeze and other cost-reduction measures.
