| Greetings! | Happy Thanksgiving week, friends -- each time the calendar turns to late November, we start to look at the teasers of the past twelve months... all with a mind to naming the year's Turkey, the ugliest stock tout of the year. | Miss anything last week? It was another wild week of macro gyrations, fantastic earnings, and crazy hype-filled newsletter promises... so what caught the eye of your favorite Gumshoe? The most-discussed teaser pick was Stansberry Venture's "radical treatment that could treat 1 in 2 of all cancer patients" ... who owns the patent on that treatment, and will this breakthrough start rewarding investors on December 31? Thinkolator answers here. We started out the week with a look at the "Dividend Superstations" being teased by Brett Owens at Contrarian Income Report... can you really get dividends from those Tesla charging stations? My musings are here. And Doc Gumshoe chimed in with an update on what's happening with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia -- that spurred a lot of discussion, comments and suggestions from readers, you can check it out here. And speaking of Tesla, Marin Katusa started teasing us about how to profit from "Elon Musk's Next Disruption" ... which ended up being a spiel about his 'secret' copper stocks, you can see the Thinkolator's answers to that teaser here. I closed things out with the Friday File for our Irregulars, and you can catch that here if you missed the email -- no big transactions in the Real Money Portfolio this week, but I update some thoughts on Chinese retailers, copper, and a few other things that are driving returns. That piece is here. | | |
