This is a game-changer for food-loving entrepreneurs.
| | New California Law Gives Green Light to Home-Based Restaurants | Years ago I was in Chenzou, China, climbed 4 flights of stairs in an apartment building, and had dinner in what was essentially a restaurant being run out of a private home. It was one of the most interesting meals I ever had; great food, a smart young kid who wanted to practice English, and I was part of both a meal and a family. Now Katherine describes how this is being tried in North America. There are so many reasons why this shouldn't happen here; no triple sinks, no food-handling tests, no accessibility standards, and don't even mention zoning restrictions on such a thing. I am amazed that it is even being considered, but it is a wonderful trend. | |
