Jambo John!
Ever have an epiphany so impactful that it stopped you in your tracks?
A recent one came to me in layers, each revealed as I continued to ask more questions about my motivations and fears:
I’m still choosing adventures – projects, paths, and possibilities – in order to make tomorrow better than today.
Is that even possible? Doesn’t living for tomorrow rob you of today? And doesn’t it mean that every new adventure must begin with a presumed deficit of whatever you set out to achieve, including time, fostering stress and resistance?
I finally saw the futility of needing more reasons to be happy than I already had. Which, ironically, hasn’t dulled my desires or creativity, but enhanced both.
And so, I hereby wish YOU, John, a happiness so great, right now, that you immediately begin to sense life’s ever-present magic, bubbling over into everything you touch. Reminding your heart that all else you may ever want is but a thought, a breeze, and a nod away.
