Stock Gumshoe Daily Update

March 29, 2016

Greetings, Gumshoe readers!
Please click here for today's new article.

Today we're taking a gander at a pitch from JR Crooks about "Salt Fuel" -- he says it will replace oil as the universal fuel, and that Elon Musk and Warren Buffett are locking horns trying to control it... so what's he talking about, and what are his hinted-at "explosive salt stocks?"  Answers in today's article here.

Or if that's not seasoned to your liking, just read on...

The Motley Fool back in 2012 sent around an ad for Stock Advisor about the "war for your living room" and the winning "Television 2.0" stocks you should buy -- that ad got a lot of play, but faded away.  Then I got a new "special report" last week that looked very similar, so we dug in to see if they're still pitching the same stocks... and, incidentally, see how those stocks did over the ensuing years. That story is here.

P.S. Wondering about other recent teases that are filling your inbox?  To answer some questions we've been seeing a lot this week, thought I'd let you know that we covered the "Neural Imprinting" pitch here, and the "Death of the iPhone" pitch here, both are different takes on virtual reality stocks.
