Tolkien On a crisp November day, while suffering from a massive head cold, I dragged myself out of bed to check on my dogs in the back yard. Sliding open the glass door, I called, "Scamp! Moto!" and waited calmly. They must be at the front gate, I mused. I peeked around the corner of the house since I was clad only in my oversized pink T-shirt. To my horror, the gate was open and they were gone. I dashed into the house, pulling on my clothes as I headed for the door barefooted and with uncombed hair.
