Greetings!

It's starting to get messy out there in terms of flight delays and cancellations (see below) and it's only going to get worse thanks to Tropical Storm Nicole. She's about to hit Florida and make her way up the east coast. In fact, she's altered my plans; I was planning on surprising my dad in Connecticut on Saturday but saw the storm is expected to arrive there and I don't want to deal with the mess.

As of 12:30pm PT, there have been 946 canceled flights to/from or within the United States and 1,583 delayed. As you can see from the FAA's National Airspace System map above, many Florida airports are closed.
